To edit an existing Work Requirement header that's in Draft or Ready to Forecast status, click its hyperlink from the search results, navigating you to the Work Requirement details page. Then, select the action Edit Header at the top of the page, navigating you to the header page in the edit mode.
On this page, you can edit all the attributes, except the Program.
If you update the type or forecast method, you will need to further update work requirement details. Additionally, any changes will require that you generate a new forecast after the changes.

- The status of due dates in the past or present isn't updated.
- Due dates in the future are updated from Active to Ready to Forecast status if they don't have a work order or have been skipped.
- If edits are made in a timely manner and the requirement or asset is promoted back to planning before any due dates occur in the past, then there shouldn't be any impact. The application automatically regenerates the forecast, so you can view the results in the Manage Forecasts page.
- If edits aren't made on time, you can't promote the requirement or asset back to planning, then due dates in the past may or may not be generated. This could result in gaps in the forecast, skipping intervals or incorrect due dates calculations.
