Configure Streamlined Processing of Internal Candidates by HR Specialists

You can configure a profile option which will enable a set of features for HR specialists to streamline the processing of most internal candidates, allowing them to move quickly, efficiently, and flexibly into their new assignments in the HR system.

These capabilities affect all internal candidates that arrive in the HR phase of the lifecycle, except those who are in complex hiring situations. A complex situation includes an internal candidate who already has two or more assignments before this job offer, or who will already be terminated before their new job offer starts, or whose situation changes while their offer is underway.

To enable streamlined processes so that the Quick Process Offer action and the Change Start Date action are available to HR specialists, you need to enable the profile option ORA_IRC_AUTO_PROCESS_INTERNAL_OFFERS at the Site level.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the profile option code ORA_IRC_AUTO_PROCESS_INTERNAL_OFFERS.
  6. Set the profile value at the Site level to Y.
  7. Click Save and Close.

What to do next

You can configure the timing of when the automatic processing of internal job offers will occur. By default, the value is set to 7 days.
