How to Configure Job Requisition DFFs as Visible in Some Places and Not Visible in Others

When a descriptive flexfield (DFF) is configured as Required, it’s visibility can’t be changed. If you want a DFF to be required and visible in some places, and hidden in other places, you need to create rules in Transaction Design Studio.

Here’s an example if you want to set a DFF as required and visible while creating a job requisition, but hidden in a career site filter panel.

Before you start

This feature requires Oracle Search.

Here's what to do

  1. Configure DFFs as Not Required
  2. Create Rule to Configure DFFs as Required
  3. Add Job Requisition Flexfields as Search Filters in Career Sites
