Configure Cookie Consent on the Career Site

You can configure cookie consent on an external career site. If cookie consent isn't enabled on the site, the non-essential cookies are stored by default. If cookie consent is enabled, non-essential cookies are stored only on candidate's explicit consent.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Candidate Experience
    • Task: Career Sites Configuration
  2. On the Career Sites Configuration page, click Edit next to a career site.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. In the Cookie Consent Message section, select the option Enable cookie consent message.
  5. Configure the cookie consent message options:
    • Cookie Consent Message. This message is visible on the cookie consent banner to candidates who visit the career site for the first time and to returning candidates who didn't accept non-essential cookies before or cleared cookies on the site.
    • Cookies Policy: The cookie policy is a more detailed information visible if the candidate clicks the link in the cookie consent message. It can hold thorough explanation on the non-essential cookies stored. It can also explain essential cookies stored on the site that don't require candidate consent. The cookie policy can include links to external sites.
    • Accept Button Label: Text appearing on the Accept button.
    • Decline Button Label: If you select the option to activate a decline button, text appearing on the Decline button.
  6. Click Preview to see how the cookie consent message will be displayed.
