Enable Apply with Indeed

You can implement Indeed on your external career site to allow candidates to apply with their Indeed profiles.

To implement Indeed, you first need to get Indeed API keys. Then, you need to add the API keys in the Indeed profile import

Get Indeed API Keys

You need to get Indeed API keys and configure the redirection URL.

1. Go to https://secure.indeed.com/account/apikeys.

2. Perform the following steps if you don't have an Indeed account.

3. Click the Create an account free link.

4. Enter an email address and password. Providing a shared email address or an email address that will remain valid in spite of personnel changes is strongly recommended.

5. Click Register New Application.

6. Enter the name of your application. For example, ABC Recruiting Application.

7. Add Application Website.

8. Select OAuth 2.0 as credential type.

9. Select the authorization code as OAuth 2.0 grants.

10. Enter the redirect URL https://<orcl_hcm_hostname>:443/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/profileImport/oauth. For example: https://abc.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com:443/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/profileImport/oauth

11. Click Save.

12. Note the application name, client ID, and client secret.

Add Indeed API Keys in the Profile Import

Add the Indeed authorization code URL and API keys in the Profile Import.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:

   • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience

   • Functional Area: Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management

   • Task: Recruiting Category Enablement

2. On the Partner Integration Provisioning page, click Edit next to Indeed.

3. Change the authorization code URL to https://secure.indeed.com/oauth/v2/authorize.

4. Change the access token URL to https://apis.indeed.com/oauth/v2/tokens.

5. Click Save and Close.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:

   • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience

   • Functional Area: Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management

   • Task: Recruiting Category Provisioning and Configuration

2. On the Partner Integration Provisioning page, click Edit next to Profile Import Partners.

3. On the Profile Import Partners page, go to the Indeed section.

4. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret key for Indeed.

5. Click Save.

6. Click the Active check box to complete the activation. The Apply with Indeed option is now available to candidates.
