Enable Grid View

A grid view is available to view job applications for a requisition, candidates in a candidate pool, and candidates in a candidate search results list. With grid view, data is displayed in a columnar layout.

Create a Profile Option to Enable Grid View

The Grid View feature is disabled by default. You need to create and enable a profile option to enable the feature.

You need to create a profile a profile option called IRC_SUBMISSION_LIST_GRID_VIEW_ENABLED.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Manage Profile Options.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Manage Profile Options page, click the New icon.
  6. On the Create Profile Option page, create the profile option by entering these values:
    • Profile Option Code: IRC_SUBMISSION_LIST_GRID_VIEW_ENABLED
    • Profile Display Name: Grid View
    • Application: Recruiting
    • Module: Recruiting Common
    • Description: Enable the grid view feature.
    • Start Date: Today's date
  7. Click Save and Close.

What to do next

When the profile option is created, you need to enable it at the Site level.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the profile option code IRC_SUBMISSION_LIST_GRID_VIEW_ENABLED.
  6. Set the profile value at the Site level to Y.
  7. Click Save and Close.

Assign Grid View Privileges

You can assign privileges to control the user's ability to create and manage grid views.

When the Grid View feature is enabled, all users have access to the Summary view and they can set their default view using views created for them.

Here are the privileges that you can assign.

Personalize Candidates Lists (IRC_PERSONALIZE_CANDIDATE_JOB_APPLICATION_LISTS):

  • Users with this privilege can create and manage their own personal grid views. Users without this privilege can only define their default view, from the set of seeded and customer created views they can see.

Manage Candidates Lists (IRC_MANAGE_CANDIDATE_JOB_APPLICATION_LISTS):

  • Users with this privilege can create and manage views that other users will have access to. Site level views are available to all users; role-based views are available to users depending on their user roles.
  • Users can create compound fields.
  • Users can define data masking for the grid view.
