Mass Actions for Oracle Learning Assignments

You can activate multiple learning assignments at the same time. Also bypass and approve, reject, complete, withdraw, or delete assignments, and update assignment learning dates. Use the Mass Actions button on the Learning Assignments page.

Here's what happens when you delete assignments:

• Deleting a course assignment also deletes the associated offering assignments.
• Deleting a specialization assignment doesn't delete the associated course assignments.
• Deleting an assignment with renewal rules updates only the assignments included in the mass action. It doesn't delete any prior or future renewal that might exist unless they're explicitly included in the mass action.
• Deleting an assignment in Requested status removes the corresponding in-progress approval transactions. It also removes the corresponding approval tasks.

Assignments with payment transactions won't be processed by any of the mass actions. And any assignments that aren't part of the selected mass action and the applicable statuses, will fail and generate error logs.

The mass action starts the Oracle Learning Cloud Bulk Processing process in the background to update the learning assignments according to the selected option. Results are recorded in the log file of the background process submitted to complete the task. You can review the results using the Tools > Scheduled Processes task.

Learning Dates

You can update any one of these learning dates:

Date	Description
Assignment	When the assignment appears in the learner's current learning. You can update it only to on or after today. Change on any assignment.
Due	When a required assignment is due. You can update it to any date after the assignment date. Change on any required assignment.
Completion	When the learner completed the assignment. You can update it only to on or before today. Change on any assignment with these statuses: Completed Bypass Completed Not Passed status
Expiration	When a completion's validity ends. You can update it only to after today. Change on any completed assignment.
