Overview of Performance Goals Scheduled Processes

As an HR specialist or goals administrator, you can schedule and run processes to assign performance goals through goal plans and goal plan sets. You can also schedule a process to assign performance goals to multiple workers.

Use Tools > Scheduled Processes or the Scheduled Process for Performance Goals link on the administrator Goals landing page to schedule processes for Goal Management.

Process Name	Description	Parameters
Mass Assign Goals	Assigns goals to multiple workers or creates goal plans for multiple workers at one go.	Process Name: You must select a name for the process of mass assigning goals.
Assign Goal Plan	Assigns goal plan to the workers.	Process Name: When you select the goal plan, the start and end dates of the goal plan appear. You can specify Effective Date to include workers in the goal plan having a hire or start date the same as or earlier than the specified effective date. If you don't specify Effective Date, the application uses the current date as the effective date. For scheduled processes, the date when the process runs is used as the effective date every time the process runs.
Assign Goal Plan Set	Assigns goal plan set to the workers	Process Name: When you select the goal plan set, the start and end dates of the goal plan set appear. You can specify Effective Date to include workers in the goal plan having a hire or start date the same as or earlier than the specified effective date. If you don't specify Effective Date, the application uses the current date as the effective date. For scheduled processes, the date when the process runs is used as the effective date every time the process runs.
Purge Goal Temporary Records	Deletes temporary records of goals assigned to employees according to the specified number of days.	Purge Start Days: Indicates the number of days from the current day to remove the transient data in the application. The default value is 15. The transient data earlier to 15 days from the current date is removed by running this process. If you expect more data to purge, you can set Purge Start Days to a minimum of 3 days so that data before 3 days from the current date is purged. Depending on the frequency of running the Goal processes such as Mass Assign Goals, Assign Goal Plans, or Assign Goal Plan Sets, data gets accumulated in database storage. The application can become slow. You can schedule this process for the required duration to purge the data.
Check Goal Data Integrity	Fixes issues such as duplicate goal plan assignments and locked Goals page when approvals are pending.	Action: The action for the integrity check. You can preview the results or update the results. This is based on the Goal Data Integrity Check Action (ORA_HRG_DATA_INTEG_CHEK_ACTION) lookup. Review Period: Review period of the goal plan for which the integrity check is to be done. Goal Plan: Name of the goal plan to check. Person Number: Person number of the worker whose goal plan you want to check.
