Edit a Check-In Template

When a check-in template is being actively used to create check-in documents, you can go ahead and edit the template's Name, Comments, and To Date fields as well as the Eligibility Profile section. However, you can't make changes to the Check-in Content section.

When you modify the eligibility profile, it doesn't impact check-in documents that were already created. However, new check-in documents can be created only by those employees who match the modified eligibility profile. When you specify a template's end date (in the To Date field), users can't create check-in documents after that date.

If the check-in template isn't in use, you can set its status to Inactive.

To edit a template, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Home > My Client Groups > Performance, scroll down to the Setup Maintenance section, and click Check-In Templates.

  2. Search for the template by specifying one or more search criteria. To view all available templates, click Search without specifying any search criteria.

  3. From the search results area, click the template name to edit it.

    Note: You can check whether a check-in template is in use or not from the search results area.
