Send Messages to the Hiring Team

You can send messages to Hiring Team members to notify them of actions they need to take on job requisitions, job applications, or job offers and keep them informed through the hiring process.

Before you start

Messages sent to the job offer Hiring Team can only be sent once a draft offer exists.

Here's what to do

  1. Open a job requisition, candidate application, or job offer.
  2. In the Actions menu, select Send Message to Team.
  3. Select how you want to create the message, using a blank form or a template.
    Only notification templates assigned to the Hiring Team Notification category are displayed.
  4. Select the recipients to whom you want to sent the message.
    If you're creating a message using a template, the message might have been configured to be sent to specific hiring team members such as the hiring manager, recruiter, collaborators. You can adjust the list of recipients as needed.
  5. Create the message.
    If you create a message from a blank form, enter the subject and content of the message. If you're using a template, you can adjust the subject and content as needed. Rich text features are available to format the message. You can also use tokens.
  6. Preview the message to ensure the content is correct and tokens are being resolved as expected.
  7. Click Send.

Results:

The message is available in the Interactions tab. In the View Interactions field, select With Hiring Team to see the message. The only information that the hiring team will receive is the information that you provided in the Message section.
