Invite Candidates to Events
You can invite candidates to both public events (those that are available on career sites) and private events (those that are by invitation-only) by adding them to the specific event.
When candidates are added to events, either an email notification or SMS notification
containing a registration link is sent to them. You can invite candidates
through:
- Applications from requisitions
- Candidate pools
- Candidate search
- Actions available from candidate profile which is accessible from all of the above locations
Although you might see internal employees when you filter candidates in any of these locations, you should only extend invitations to external candidates. The external career links in the email invitations might not open for employees or contractors.

You must have the Manage Recruiting Event privilege.Here's what to do
Results:
If the candidates you added have valid email addresses and phone numbers, they'll
receive an Event Invite notification, either by email or SMS. The type sent depends
on the candidate's preferred mode of communication. Once they receive the
invitation, candidates can click the Register link to open the event details page
and decide if they want to register for the event. If the candidates don't have
verified email addresses or phone numbers on file, an error message displays and the
candidates aren't added to the event. This message also displays when the Send Event
Invite Notification has been deactivated or deleted.
Note: Although event invite
notification visibility can be both internal and external, event notifications
are only for external candidates.
