Enable Zoom Integration in Interviews

When you enable the Zoom integration, you allow recruiting users to select Zoom to generate web conference links for interviews.

  1. Create the Zoom Application on the Zoom App Marketplace Site
  2. Configure the Zoom Application
  3. Configure Oracle Recruiting to Use Zoom
  4. Assign the Authorize Zoom Integration Privilege

Create the Zoom Application on the Zoom App Marketplace Site

You first need to create the Zoom application on the Zoom App Marketplace site.

  1. Go to Zoom App Marketplace (https://marketplace.zoom.us/) and sign in using your zoom account.
  2. On the Discover apps page, click the Develop menu, then click Build App.
  3. On the Choose your app type page, click Create in the OAuth section.
  4. On the Create an OAuth app window, complete these fields:
    • App Name: Enter an app name. For example, ORC Zoom Integration.
    • User-managed app: Select this option.
  5. Click Create.

Configure the Zoom Application

When the Zoom app is created, you need to configure it.

  1. On the App Credentials tab, complete these fields:
    • Client ID: The Client ID is automatically generated and it’ll be used when you configure the Zoom integration in Recruiting.
    • Client Secret: The Client Secret is automatically generated and it’ll be used when you configure the Zoom integration in Recruiting.
    • Redirect URL for OAuth: Enter a URL. The format of this URL is: https://<Host>/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/zoomIntegration/oauth. You need to replace the <Host> by the appropriate host name of your Fusion instance.
    • Add Allow List: Enter the same URL as the one you entered in the Redirect URL for OAuth field.
  2. On the Information tab, complete these fields:
    • App name: For example, Oracle Recruiting Zoom Integration.
    • Short description: For example, Zoom app for Oracle Recruiting.
    • Long description
    • Developer contact name and email.
  3. On the Scopes tab, click Add Scopes and select these privileges:
    • Meeting: View your meetings, View and manage your meetings.
  4. On the Activation tab, ensure that all the required info is there.

Configure Oracle Recruiting to Use Zoom

You configure Oracle Recruiting to use Zoom for interviews.

Before you start

If the Teams integration is enabled, you need to disable it. You can only enable one web conference at a time.

Here's what to do

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management
    • Task: Enterprise Recruiting and Candidate Experience Information
  2. Expand the Zoom Integration section and click Edit.
  3. Select Active and enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Edit then click Validate Integration. Click OK when the confirmation message is displayed.
  6. Click Save.

Assign the Authorize Zoom Integration Privilege

You need to grant a privilege for users to see and access the quick action Authorize Zoom Integration for Interviews.
