Job Requisition Template
A job requisition template provides a way to facilitate the creation of job requisitions by defaulting values in several fields.
Job requisition templates contain the same fields as job requisitions. If a job requisition is created from a requisition template, all fields for which a value is set in the template will be defaulted with the template's value.
You can create three types of job requisition template:

Standalone

For Jobs

For Positions
When you view the list of job requisition templates, you can see the type of each requisition template. You can also filter the list based on the template type.
Standalone Template
Template meant to be used by recruiters when they create a requisition based directly on a template.
Template for Jobs
You can create a job requisition template for a specific job. You first create a template for jobs which contains requisition values not available in a job. You then go to the Job Details work area where you can select the requisition template you just created.
Job-based requisition templates don't include fields for which info is available from the job such as Job Family, Job Function, Regular or Temporary, Full Time or Part Time.
Template for Positions
You can create a job requisition template for a specific position. You first create a template for jobs which contains requisition values not available in a job. You then go to the Position Details work area where you can select the requisition template you just created.
Position-based requisition templates don't include fields for which info is available from the job of the position such as Job Family, Job Function, Regular or Temporary, Full Time or Part Time. They also don't include fields for which info is available from the position such as Number of Openings, Department, Work Location.
