Talent Ratings Templates

The following table displays the predefined templates for talent ratings and their description. Depending on application settings and roles assigned, you can view, add, and update these talent ratings across multiple products within the Oracle Cloud HCM product family.

Talent Ratings Descriptions
Advancement readiness Evaluate a person's readiness for the next position in their career development.
Career Potential Evaluate a person based on the execution of the person's work.
N box cell assignment Evaluate a person's current contribution and potential contribution to the organization on a box chart matrix with N boxes. N represents the number of boxes in the grid.
Performance rating Evaluate an item, section, or overall performance document.
Risk of loss Evaluate the likelihood of a person leaving the company. Configure Impact of Loss rating by using the Risk of Loss rating and selecting the Impact Rating Model in the Person Profile Type, Edit Talent Rating page.
Talent score Evaluate a person's overall value to the organization using a rating model your organization defines.

Creating Custom Talent Rating Templates

You can create up to 5 custom talent ratings in addition to the existing standard talent ratings on the Edit Profile Type: Person page.

Here are the steps:

Navigate to My Client Groups > Profiles> Profile Type >Edit Profile Type: Person page,
  • In the Profile Talent Ratings section, click Add Talent Rating button. The Add Talent Rating page will be displayed.
  • In the Add Talent Rating page,
    • Provide a unique Section Name.
    • Provide a Section Description.
    • Choose a Rating Model from the rating models in the dropdown.
    • Select the Active checkbox.
    • Configure the Evaluator Type Definition section for each of the Evaluator Type for Employee View or Manager View.
    • Click Save and Close.
  • The newly created custom talent rating is now available in the Profile Talent Ratings section.
Note the following:
  • After creating the custom talent rating, you must add the roles for each of the those for the employee or manager to access it. You can set up the roles using the Profile Content Section Access task in the Profiles work area by searching for the custom talent rating that you created.
  • Apart from the standard talent ratings, you can add and view only up to 5 additional custom talent ratings on the Profile Talent Ratings section.
  • You can't delete a custom talent rating. You may only set it as inactive.
