How You Prevent Changes to Section Ratings During Compensation Calibration

You can prevent managers from changing the section ratings for employees when compensation calibration begins in Oracle Workforce Compensation.

This requires the ORA_HRA_COMP_CALIBRATION_STATUS_ENABLED profile option to be enabled. When you enable this profile option, this is what happens:
  • If the task is Manager Evaluation and the calibration status in Compensation is either In Review or Complete, managers see a message that conveys that the section ratings in the performance document are locked. Managers can still adjust comments and item ratings in the performance document to align with the calibrated ratings.
  • If the task is Share Performance Document and the calibration status in Compensation is set to In Review, managers won’t be able to complete the share task. After the calibration status is set to Complete, managers can continue to share their evaluation with the employee.
  • Previous configuration options for locking the share task aren't available when this profile option is enabled:
    • The Allow document sharing task to be locked for calibration configuration doesn’t display in Performance process flows.
    • The Lock Manager Share Task isn’t available for Document Periods in the performance template.
