Send Participant Requests

After adding participants to the list and selecting the roles, you must send a request to inform the participants that you're asking them to provide feedback.

You can send the request immediately after selecting the participants, or send the request later.

Managers can always send a request to participants. Employees can also send requests to participants, if allowed. If the employee can't send a request, then they can use the Notify action to let the manager know they selected new participants for the manager to send requests to.

  1. To send the request immediately, click Send Request in the Add Participants page.
  2. To send the request later, find the individual participant from the list in the Manage Participant Feedback page, and click Send Request using the Actions menu.
    Note: Using HCM Data Loader, HR specialists can add participants and send requests to them to provide feedback in performance documents for multiple employees at the same time.

Results:

Participants receive a notification about the request, if notifications are enabled. Clicking the link in the notification takes them to the employee's performance document so they can start providing feedback. Alternatively, they can also go to their Performance page and select a review period to view the request under the Participant Feedback for Others region. They can then select the performance document link and begin providing feedback.
