What's Hiring Events

Hiring events let organizations rapidly fill many open positions by expanding job awareness and engaging candidates at scale. Events can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days, and could either drive recruitment or be purely informational in nature. This feature helps organizations to build high quality talent pipelines.

Every hiring event has an event team comprising of one owner and several collaborators who are responsible for putting the event together and defining its format. Once the event is ready for registration, candidates who are interested sign up for the event to learn more about the opportunities on offer.

As an event team member you can:

  • Define the event’s format, dates, and location.
  • Format and preview an event before posting or publishing it.
  • Select a career site for posting or publishing an event.
  • Invite candidates to an event.
  • Review candidate registrations.
  • Send notifications to candidates regarding event activities.
  • Help candidates with check-in.
  • Record interactions with attendees.
  • Match qualified candidates to requisitions.
  • Assess success metrics of an event.

As a candidate you can:

  • Receive an invitation for an event.
  • Search for an event on the career site.
  • Register for an event.
  • Manage event registrations through a career site.
  • Receive event-related notifications by emails or messages.
  • Check in to an event.
  • Receive information about further processing.

Once Recruiting Booster is enabled, events are visible on the Hiring module alongside job requisitions. Posted events can be found along with jobs on the career sites, provided that events have been enabled on those sites.
