Description

Header Links

You can configure up to 5 main navigation menus and 6 navigation submenus. You can reorder the display of header links using the drag and drop functionality. Click Preview to see how the links are displayed in the header.

Make sure your header displays well in all screen resolutions. The display will depend on how many navigation menus you add and how long the labels are. Depending on the screen resolution, a horizontal bar might be displayed in the header area. To avoid that, you can shorten link labels or use custom CSS for wrapping text or reducing spacing.

Footer Links

You can configure up to 5 main navigation menus and 3 navigation submenus. You can choose 5 links for mobile and tablet. You can reorder the display of footer links using the drag and drop functionality. Click Preview to see how the links are displayed in the footer.

SEO Optimization You can increase your career site's visiblity with search engines. Enter an organization name, organization URL, and organization logo to help search engines tie the career site page to your organization. For details, see Configure Search Engine Optimization.

Search Filters

You can decide which of these search filters are visible to candidates on career sites.

  • Locations
  • Work Locations (this filter requires Oracle Search)
  • Workplace
  • Job Functions
  • Categories
  • Organizations (the Organizations filter requires Oracle Search.
  • Posting Dates

You can configure career site search filters to display more than 10 values. For details, see Configure Career Site Search Filters.

You can also add descriptive flexfields (DFFs) created with Transaction Design Studio. For details, see Add Job Requisition Flexfields as Search Filters in Career Sites.

You can add job requisition flexfields as career site context filters. This lets you post requisitions to career sites based on a flexfield value. First select the context in which your DFF resides, and then select the appropriate DFF. Once selected it's added to the site context filters. Select the appropriate values from the drop-down list.
Note: Only independent DFFs are supported. Custom filters aren't visible on the tiles for site lists. Candidate Experience site context DFFs aren't honored in job recommendations. This means if Similar Jobs and Recommended Jobs are enabled on the site, some jobs not matching the set DFF site context can be recommended. For example, if the DFF value you selected as a context filter is “Alumni”, you might see a job in the Similar Jobs section on that site that doesn't have that Alumni DFF value.

Work Location Display

You can decide what work location details are displayed to candidates within the description of jobs on the career site.

  • Full Work Location Address: The building number, street, city, state/province, postal code, and country are displayed.
  • Postal Code: Only the postal code of the work location is displayed.
  • Work Location Name: Only the work location name is displayed.
  • No Work Location: If work locations are added to a job requisition, no info is displayed. The recruiting location is displayed instead.

You need to set the Work Location Display setting to Full Work Location Address if you also configured preferred locations in the job application flow. Otherwise, when a candidate selects preferred locations while applying for a job on an external career site, the locations that the candidate selected won't appear.

Talent Community Sign Up

This is where you set up options to display the Talent Community sign up option to candidates. When external candidates don't find jobs matching their interests, they can join a talent community to show their interests in an organization. For details, see Set Up a Talent Community.

Cookie Consent Message

You can track candidates who visit your external career sites so that their interactions are remembered across visits. The cookie consent is presented when a candidate visits the career site for the first time and within consecutive visit when cookies weren't accepted before. For details, see Career Site Cookies.

You can allow candidates to get a weighted list of recommended jobs based on their uploaded resume. For details, see Configure Recommended Jobs Based on Candidate Resume.

Digital Assistant You can enable digital assistant.

You can select a template to send notifications to candidates.

Distance Calculation

When you select the option Display distance to jobs and sort jobs by distance, candidates who search for jobs using their location or a location or postal code they typed in, will see the distance between their selected location and the job location. The distance appears underneath the job title. The distance is displayed in the unit selected by the candidate in the radius search. The radius unit selected by default depends on the candidate's browser language. If the browser locale is set to a country where imperial system is used (for example, en-US or en-GB), miles is used. For other locations or if browser locale can't be read, the unit defaults to kilometers. Candidates can also sort jobs based on distance.

Note: This feature requires Oracle Search.
