Make the Job Offer Letter Visible in Documents of Record

You can configure the job offer letter so that the HR specialist and the employee can view it in the Documents of Record (DOR).

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Document Types.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Document Types page, in the Category field, select Employment then click Search.
  6. In the Search Results section, click Recruiting Job Offer Letters.
  7. On the Edit Document Type: Recruiting Job Offer Letters page, in the Status field, select Active.
  8. In the Document Record Preferences tab, make sure to set these options to No.
    • Restrict Create
    • Restrict Update
    • Restrict Delete
  9. Click Save and Close.
