Recommend the Most Popular Learning

This process generates the learning recommendations that learners see when browsing the Oracle Learning catalog. For best performance, schedule it to run only once a week, on the weekend if possible, and for all appropriate recommendation options.

Scheduling a shorter frequency won't change the recommendation results.

Tips

In the Recommendation Category drop-down list, select all the categories you want to generate recommendations for.

• The generated recommendations won't include the learning items that the learner already completed.
• If a learner has multiple job roles, gaps are identified by comparing the required content items defined for each job role and talent profile.
• If a learner has multiple careers of interest, gaps are identified by comparing the required content items defined for each job role and talent profile.
• Popular recommendations depend on the quantity of learners who voluntarily completed the learning in the previous 6 months.
