Mass Assignment of Development Goals

Mass assign goals is a feature that you can use to assign development goals to many employees at the same time.

HR specialists or managers can create a mass assignment request, select development goals from the goal library or create and add development goals to the request. They can then submit the request to assign the selected development goals to a selected population of workers. HR specialists can create the process for a manager by providing the Requester name to assign the development goals of that manager.

To access the Setup of Development Goals for Mass Assignment page, use one of these methods:

  • Go to My Client Groups > Career Development and then select the Setup of Development Goals Mass Assignment task.

  • Go to My Client Groups, click Show More, and then search for and select the Setup of Development Goals Mass Assignment Quick Action.

Administrators or HR specialists can create a mass assignment request or copy an existing mass assignment process and update it to suit their business needs.

When using the mass assign goals feature, you can do these actions:

  • Assign goals to managers and all of their reports or to their direct reports only.

  • Exclude specific individuals from a manager's direct or all reports lists when selecting the population.

  • Select eligibility profiles to mass assign goals to workers who meet the profile criteria.

    Note: In the Selected Eligibility Profiles region, you can check the eligibility of the workers.

Run the Mass Assign Goal Process

You can run the mass assign goal process on-demand, or schedule it to run at a later time, or on a recurring interval by using the Scheduled Processes for Development Goals task on the administrator's Career Development page. The assignment process assigns development goals to the worker population based on the eligibility profile criteria. Note that the assignment process analyzes only the worker population who the human resource administrator has data security access to.
