Request Feedback for Your Performance Goals

You can request feedback for your performance goals, including private goals, from anyone in your organization.

The feedback you receive can help you to understand if you're aligned with your organizational objectives and improve your performance. You can also share the feedback you receive with your manager.

You can identify the goals for which feedback is requested by the Feedback Requested label.

Before You Request Feedback

You can request feedback only if these criteria are met:

  • An active performance goal feedback template exists.

  • Your administrator has enabled these features for performance goals:

    • Drill-down mode

    • Feedback requests in Transaction Design Studio

Feedback Section

You request feedback in the Feedback section of the goal page. You can also view the feedback requested for the goal in this section with these details:

  • The person whose feedback is requested

  • The status of the feedback request

  • When the feedback is due

  • The person who requested the feedback

  • The date the feedback was requested

You can filter the feedback requests by their status.

Request Feedback

To request feedback for your goals:

  1. Go to your Goals page.

  2. Select the goal plan that has the goals for which you want to request feedback.

  3. Select the goals in your goal plan for which you want to request feedback.

  4. Select the Request Feedback action.

  5. Specify these details on the Request Feedback for Me page:

    • People whose feedback you want.

      Tip: Did you know that you can select any or all of your peers or direct reports when requesting feedback? If your administrator has enabled this feature, you can see the Select Peers and Select Direct Reports buttons to do this.
    • You can opt to share the feedback with your manager. You can also opt out of reviewing the feedback about yourself by clearing the Share feedback with me check box. If you select this check box, you can view the feedback provided on your Feedback spotlight page.

    • Any additional questions you want to add for the selected goals.

    • The date by when you need the feedback and an optional message for the person you're requesting feedback from.

      Note: The due date for the feedback and the message sent is the same for all the selected goals.
  6. Click Submit.

Check the Feedback Request Status

You can check the status of your feedback requests in these page sections:

  • Feedback section of the goal page

  • Feedback Requests About Me section of your Feedback page
