Convert a Prospect into a Candidate Job Application

You can convert an existing prospect record into a candidate job application.

Before you start

You need the privilege Create Candidate Job Application (IRC_CREATE_CANDIDATE_JOB_APPLICATION).

Here's what to do

1. Go to the Job Requisitions list.
2. Click the Prospects link for a specific requisition.
3. On the Prospects page, select one or multiple prospects.
   You can select up to 10 prospects.
4. In the Actions menu, select Convert Prospect.

Results:

When the prospect record is converted, it no longer appears on the Prospects list. It appears as a confirmed job application.

What to do next

You can use the Candidate Application filter on the job application list to find those applications which were created on behalf of the candidate.

Note: The Candidate Application filter isn't displayed in the Filters panel by default. You need to add it using the Personalize Filter action.

If the candidate attempts to apply using their invite to apply email, the candidate will get an error and won't be able to apply because the job application was created (on their behalf) with the Convert Prospect action.
