Why don't I get notified about assignment changes in succession plans?

You aren't notified about all assignment changes of succession plan candidates and incumbents.

These conditions apply for notifications about assignment changes of succession plan candidates and incumbents:

• Only named plan owners who have data security access to the candidate are notified about assignment changes of the candidate.

• If the job change needs to be approved in Human Resources, notification isn't sent until the job change has been approved.

• For position plans, even if you're a plan owner, you won't get notifications if only the candidate's job and not the position changes.

• You won't get any notifications for inactive plan candidates.

• You won't get any notifications for inactive succession plans.
