Recruiting Roles
The primary user roles in Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting are described below.
For more details about each of these roles, see the Security Reference for HCM guide available on docs.oracle.com.
Role |
Description |
---|---|
Hiring Manager - Abstract role |
The Hiring Manager role has access to a limited set of recruiting features such as initiating the job requisition creation process, approving the job requisition, viewing candidate applications, approving job offers. The Hiring Manager accesses Hiring under My Team. This role usually has limited visibility on objects based on ownership. |
Recruiter - Job role |
The Recruiter role has a broader access to recruiting features, which includes tasks such as creating job requisitions, managing candidate flows, creating job offers. The Recruiter accesses Hiring under My Client Groups. This role has limited visibility on objects but can get broader security profiles as defined by the security administrator. |
Recruiting Manager - Job role |
The Recruiting Manager role can perform all recruiting tasks. This role inherits all capabilities of the Recruiter role but has a few more capabilities such as:
|
Recruiting Administrator - Job role |
The Recruiting Administrator role performs functional configurations in the Setup and Maintenance work area. This includes questions and requisition templates management.
|
Recruiting Agent - Job role |
The Recruiting Agent role has access to the Agency Portal. Creates candidate flows. |
None of these roles provides access to internal career sites. That access is assigned to the Employee and Contingent Worker roles. Users who only have recruiting roles can't access internal career sites and therefore can't perform actions such as apply to jobs, refer candidates, answer interview requests, and preview offer letters without direct access to Recruiting.
