Recruiting Roles

The primary user roles in Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting are described below.

Role

Description

Hiring Manager - Abstract role

The Hiring Manager role has access to a limited set of recruiting features such as initiating the job requisition creation process, approving the job requisition, viewing candidate applications, approving job offers. The Hiring Manager accesses Hiring under My Team.

This role usually has limited visibility on objects based on ownership.

Recruiter - Job role

The Recruiter role has a broader access to recruiting features, which includes tasks such as creating job requisitions, managing candidate flows, creating job offers. The Recruiter accesses Hiring under My Client Groups.

This role has limited visibility on objects but can get broader security profiles as defined by the security administrator.

Recruiting Manager - Job role

The Recruiting Manager role can perform all recruiting tasks.

This role inherits all capabilities of the Recruiter role but has a few more capabilities such as:

  • Manage Candidate Job Application Lists

  • Manage Job Requisition Interview Schedule Before Job Formatting Phase

  • Update Candidate Job Offer Letter

  • Update Job Requisition After Draft Phase

  • View Confidential Questionnaire Responses

  • View External Candidate Sensitive Information

  • Manage Job Offer by Recruiting Manager

  • Recruiting Manager Reporting Duty

  • Manage External Candidate Sensitive Information

Recruiting Administrator - Job role

The Recruiting Administrator role performs functional configurations in the Setup and Maintenance work area. This includes questions and requisition templates management.

  • List of Values are moving toward REST services that are secured.

Recruiting Agent - Job role

The Recruiting Agent role has access to the Agency Portal.

Creates candidate flows.

None of these roles provides access to internal career sites. That access is assigned to the Employee and Contingent Worker roles. Users who only have recruiting roles can't access internal career sites and therefore can't perform actions such as apply to jobs, refer candidates, answer interview requests, and preview offer letters without direct access to Recruiting.
