Set Up Role Details in Opportunity Marketplace
You need to run the initial data ingestion process, configure profile options, and assign specific privileges to set up viewing role details in Opportunity Marketplace.
Run Initial Data Ingestion
You need to run the Process Career Roles for Oracle Search Ingestion scheduled process. To run the initial data ingestion process, your role needs to have the Manage Scheduled Job Definition (FND_MANAGE_SCHEDULED_JOB_DEFINITION_PRIV) function privilege.
- Navigate to .
- Search for and select the Process Career Roles for Oracle Search Ingestion process.
- Submit the process.
You need to run the initial data ingestion process after every release version upgrade and P2T (production-to-test) process.
Set Profile Options for Role Details
To enable viewing role details in Opportunity Marketplace, use the Manage Administrator Profile Values task in the Setup and Maintenance work area and configure the profile options listed in this table at the Site level.

Assign Privileges
If you use custom roles, ensure that these privileges are granted to the roles:
- To view career roles and details: Manage Career (HRG_MANAGE_CAREER_DETAILS_PRIV)
- To view career roles in Opportunity Marketplace: View Career Roles in Opportunity Marketplace (IRC_VIEW_CAREER_ROLES_IN_OPPORTUNITY_MARKETPLACE_PRIV)
- To view jobs on the Jobs tab of the Opportunity Marketplace application: Access Internal Candidate Experience (IRC_ACCESS_INTERNAL_CANDIDATE_EXPERIENCE_PRIV_OBI)
Also copy the Manage Career by Worker (ORA_HRG_MANAGE_CAREER_DETAILS_BY_WORKER_DUTY) duty role.
Define Position and Job Profiles
Use the Model Profiles task to create an instance of a Model Profile. Go to and then define a position profile or job profile for a career role. Then associate it with the respective position or job.
Define Role Guides
Use the Role and Capability Guides task in My Client Groups to define role guides and associate them with appropriate positions or jobs.
