Export and Import WhatsApp Configuration Data

You can export the following WhatsApp configuration details from one application environment and import them into another:

  • Name and description of WhatsApp messaging providers
  • Allowed list of countries for WhatsApp
  • Daily limits for WhatsApp messages, which includes the system hard limit, candidate message limit, and the system soft limit

Export WhatsApp Configuration Data

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management
    • Task: Recruiting Messaging Configuration
  2. From the Actions menu (marked by a down arrow), select Export to CSV > Create New.
    Note: If you don’t see the Actions menu, enable it from the View menu by selecting Columns > Actions.
  3. Edit the process name and description, as required.
  4. Submit the process.
  5. After a few minutes, select the Export to CSV option from the Actions menu again.
  6. Select Ready for Download.
  7. On the Export Setup Data to CSV File Results page, select Download File.

The CSV file is downloaded to your local folder as a compressed file.

Import WhatsApp Configuration Data

To import the WhatsApp configuration details into the destination environment:

  1. Open the destination environment.
  2. From the Actions menu (marked by a down arrow) next to the Recruiting Messaging Configuration task, select Import from CSV > Create New.
  3. Select the compressed CSV file that was downloaded.
  4. Submit the process.
  5. To check whether the process has completed successfully, look for the Ready for data validation option on the Import from CSV menu.
  6. Select the Recruiting Messaging Configuration task to check whether the configuration details are imported successfully.
