How do I enable Microsoft Teams integration?

For Microsoft Teams to work with Oracle Communicate, you need to create a bot in the Azure Portal.

  1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > > HCM Communicate > > Employee Communications > Manage External Integrations.
  2. Select Configure Integrations and then Microsoft Teams.
  3. Complete the fields in the Microsoft Teams Endpoints section.
  4. Complete the fields in the Microsoft Teams Bot section using the information you saved creating the Azure Bot.
  5. Copy and save the messaging endpoint information, you'll need this for the Azure Portal.
  6. Download and save the Bot App Package.
  7. Update the messaging endpoint in the Portal using the saved information.
    1. In the Azure Portal find the Azure bot resource.
    2. In Configuration, paste the messaging endpoint information you saved in step 5.
  8. Upload and publish the saved file for the Bot App Package in Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
  9. Add the Bot App to your Microsoft Teams or channel.
  10. Go to Setup and Maintenance > > HCM Communicate > > Employee Communications > Manage Communication Teams.
  11. In the Microsoft Teams Integration section, select a Microsoft Teams Bot for a new communication team or add it to an existing communication team.
