Configure Gig Segmentation

Use gig segmentation configurations to control which employees can see specific gigs in Opportunity Marketplace.

When a user logs in, the first active configuration that matches their eligibility profile is applied to them. Only the matching requisitions from that gig configuration are displayed in the Opportunity Marketplace dashboard.

Before you start

For creating job segmentation configurations, you must have the following privileges:

• BEN_MANAGE_BENEFIT_ELIGIBLITY_PROFILE_PRIV – This privilege allows users to create eligibility profiles for opportunity marketplace usage.
• BEN_REST_SERVICE_ACCESS_BENEFITS_LOVS_PRIV – This privilege allows users to select the Opportunity Marketplace eligibility profiles while creating job configurations.

To enable and use this feature you need to:

1. Enable a profile option.
2. Create eligibility profiles (if you haven't already done so).
3. Create gig configurations by linking to eligibility profiles.

Note:

If you've already set up active gig configurations then, upon enabling the profile option for gig configurations, the gigs will be restricted to users based on their eligibility profiles that match the available gig configurations.

Enable Profile Option

Enable the ORA_HCM_OPP_MKT_GIG_CONFIG_ENABLED profile option. By default, the profile option is set to N, meaning the feature is disabled by default.

To enable the profile option:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
2. Click Search.
3. On the Search page, search for the task Manage Administrator Profile Values.
4. Click the task name.
5. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the profile option code ORA_HCM_OPP_MKT_GIG_CONFIG_ENABLED.
6. In the Profile Values section, set the profile value to Y.
7. Click Save and Close.

Create Eligibility Profiles

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:
   • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
   • Functional Area: Candidate Experience Management
   • Task: Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list, or search for "gig" from the Search Tasks field.
2. Select the Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles task.
3. Click Create.
4. Enter the appropriate information to create the Eligibility Profile Definition and Eligibility Criteria.
5. Select Opportunity Marketplace from the Profile Usage drop-down list if it's not already selected.
6. Click Save and Close.

Create Gig Configurations by Linking to Eligibility Profiles

You can create gig configurations and link them to eligibility profiles. You can select the filters for the gig requisitions that fall within that gig configuration.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:
   • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
   • Functional Area: Candidate Experience Management
   • Task: Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list, or search for "gig" from the Search Tasks field.

2. Click Opportunity Marketplace Gigs Configurations.

3. Click Create.
4. Enter a configuration code.
5. Type a configuration name.
6. Select an eligibility profile.
   Note: Only one Opportunity Marketplace eligibility profile can be mapped against a gig configuration.
7. Add the appropriate requisition filters.
8. Click Save and Close.
