Restrict Candidates to Respond to Job Offers After the Expiration Date

You can restrict candidates to accept or decline their job offers after the offer’s expiration date.

This is done by disabling the option called Allow candidates to accept or decline job offers after the offer’s expiration date. This setting is enabled by default so that you can experience the current behavior.

When you disable the setting:

  • Candidates can’t respond to the job offer when the expiration date has passed.
  • Candidates get a message when they click the job offer link embedded in the Extend Job Offer notification.
  • The Accept and Decline buttons are disabled.
  • Candidates need to contact the Recruiting team for the job offer to be re-extended.
  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management
    • Task: Enterprise Recruiting and Candidate Experience
  2. Expand the Offer section and click Edit.
  3. Clear the option Allow candidates to accept or decline job offers after the offer’s expiration date.
  4. Click Save.
