Security Profiles Used in Recruiting Roles

The table describes the security profiles used for each recruiting role.

Candidate Selection Profile
  • Applies only to candidate search.
  • Applies to search parameters of the Rest service recruitingCandidates. There's no data security when calling the service using the candidate number or the person ID.
  • Only valid when the profile option ORA_IRC_CANDIDATE_SECURITY_ENABLED is set to Y.

  • To view job requisitions.

Create the Recruiting Administrator View All Data Role

To implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting and before creating data roles for the various users, you must create a Recruiting Administrator View All data role.

Prerequisite: You need to sign in as a TechAdmin user.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for the task Assign Security Profiles to Role.
  2. On the Data Roles and Security Profiles page, in the Search Results section, click Create.
  3. On the Create Data Role: Select Role page, complete the fields as follows.
    • Data Role: Recruiting Administrator View All
    • Job Role: Recruiting Administrator
  4. Click Next.
  5. On the Create Data Role: Security Criteria page, select these predefined security profiles.
    • Organization: View All Organizations
    • Person: View All People
    • Public Person: View All People
    • Job Requisition: View All Job Requisitions
  6. Click Review.
  7. On the Create Data Role: Review page, click Submit.
  8. On the Data Roles and Security Profiles page, search for the Recruiting Administrator View All data role to confirm that it was created successfully.
  9. In the Security Console, assign the data role to the user implementing Oracle Recruiting.
