Overview of Nudges

A nudge acts as a reminder to take a specific action on a certain event. You receive nudges for any overdue or pending tasks for events such as upcoming check-ins, updating goals, pending feedback, or celebrating accomplishments, so that you can take appropriate actions on them.

You receive these reminders through one or more of these channels:

Description

Check-in Insight

Recommended insights topics that appear when a check-in is created or edited. Here’s the path where you can see the nudge: Me > Touchpoints > Schedule Check-in > Suggestions.

Select the Add Insight button to add the item to your check-in.

Email

Email notifications sent to your work email ID.

Touchpoints Card

Cards that appear on your Touchpoints page.

For most of these nudges, you can use the Add to Check-in action to add the item in a Touchpoints New Check in page.

These are the exceptions to the available actions:
  • For Feedback related nudges, you can use the Request Feedback or Give Feedback actions that takes you to the feedback page.
  • For Human Resources related nudges about birthdays and work anniversaries, you can use Recognize action to enter your wishes in a panel on the page.
  • For the Goal-related nudge where employees complete their goals ahead of goal target completion date, managers can use the Send Recognition action to enter their wishes in a panel on the page.
