Skill Rating Advisor

A skill rating advisor helps workers rate themselves more accurately on a skill by completing an assessment and receiving an AI-suggested rating. Workers answer a few skill-specific questions, and AI suggests the appropriate rating level based on how well they answer the questions, the correctness of their responses, and the rating model associated with the skill.

When an assessment is associated with a skill, workers access it from Grow or Skills Center by clicking the Rating Guidance link in the rating dialog box from the skill chip and then clicking Start Assessment. After workers complete the assessment, the skill rating advisor assesses their skill level, suggests a rating, and provides a rationale for the rating in the Score detail section. Workers can use the suggested rating or select their own rating, and the talent profile updates with the chosen rating.

This helps workers assess their skills in an objective way, reduces guesswork when they set the appropriate skill level, and helps ensure that development activities, such as learning courses, are recommended at the correct level based on their current skill level.
