Candidate File Merge

You can merge candidate files identified as possible duplicates after you've run a duplicate check or used specific identifiers.

The table displays the type of candidate that can be merged and the file kept after the merge.

You can merge candidate files when candidates have offers:

• When the candidate is in any phase before the Offer phase.

• When the candidate is in any phase after the Offer phase.

• When the candidate is in any state of the Offer phase.

You can't merge candidates when screening partners didn't enable notifications. For partners who didn't enable notifications, here's the list of statuses preventing a merge:

• Assessment
  • Initiated
  • Started
  • In Progress
  • Completed by Candidate
• Background Check
  • Initiated
  • Candidate Input Required
  • In Progress
• Tax Credit
  • Initiated
  • Started
  • In Progress
  • Completed by Candidate
