The Manage Functional and Hierarchical Roles user
type permission is required.
- Click Create.
- Enter a code and a name.
- Optional: Enter a description.
- Select a default assignee.
Each functional role must have a single default user. When requesting
an approval, if no other users are selected for the role, the default
assignee will be called upon for an approval using this role.
- Click Save.
- Select other assignees and associate them to an Organization-Location-Job
Field structure.
- Click Create next to Assignees.
- Click Search.
- Select a user.
- Click Select.
- Click Save.
- Click Add next to Location, Organization and/or Job
Field.
The new role appears in the Functional Roles list.
