Deactivating a Candidate Selection Workflow
Before you start
A candidate selection workflow must be active in order to deactivate it.
-
If a CSW is used on a requisition when it is made unavailable, candidates may be processed using that workflow for those requisitions.
-
It won't be possible to edit and save a requisition using this workflow. The user will be forced to select another active workflow before the requisition can be saved.
- Users won't be able to create a new requisition using that workflow as it won't be available anymore in the list of available CSWs.
- The steps associated to this CSW will be removed from the candidates step filter.
- The list formats associated to the CSW step contexts will also be removed.
Here's what to do
- Click the Workflows tab.
- Click a candidate selection workflow.
- Clear the Available check box.
- Click Done.
Results:
In the Workflows page, a check mark no longer appears in the Available column next to the candidate selection workflow. Users can no longer use the candidate selection workflow. The candidate selection workflow remains available in the database.
It's important to understand the impact of inactiviating a CSW prior to doing so.
