Renaming a View or Compound Layout

Before you start

You must have one of the following user type permissions:

• BI Author Limited

• BI Author Developer

• BI Tenant Administrator

Here's what to do

1. If you want to rename:

   • A view, on the toolbar of the view's editor, click the Rename View button.

   • A compound layout, in the Analysis editor: Results tab toolbar, click the Rename Compound Layout button.

   The Rename View dialog is displayed.
2. Enter the new name for the view or compound layout.
3. Click OK.
