You can edit the names and descriptions of alert types, and specify whether they are Enabled. When you enable an alert type, it is displayed in the list of available Alert Types.
Normally, items in a locked schedule cannot be edited or modified. However, alerts associated with a locked schedule can be updated, have their workflow progress and even be removed from the schedule or deleted.
To edit an alert type:
- On the Home page, click Application, and then click Task Manager.
- Click the Alert Types tab on the left.
- Select the alert type and click Edit.
- Edit the alert type.
- Click Save and Close.
