Managing Metadata

Once the feature is enabled (see Enabling Transfers and Divestments), the following metadata are created in the application:

• Account
  • Tax Account: Captures rate change differences for VA accounts and other deferred tax accounts.
  • ETR Hierarchy: New accounts are added under the ETR hierarchy to manage current year rate change differences.

    

• TAR Account Hierarchy

  

• Movement:

  The deferred closing hierarchy is updated to include additional movements for transfers and divestments deferred balance sheet items.

  

  These movements are now incorporated into the Tax Account RollForward, and functionality has been added to post these balances to TAR.
