Working with Entity Rules
Generate Constituent Entity Rule
This rule generates the Constituent Entities in the Pillar Two Entity Classification Form for all the Entities in the Pillar Two Jurisdiction Automation Form with Reporting Jurisdictions.
To access the rule within the form, right click on any cell and click on Generate Constituent Entities. This will select Constituent Entity as Yes for all Entities with Jurisdiction assigned to them.
In the below example, Jurisdiction is assigned to Atlanta and Stamford.
Note:
- This rule is also available as a standalone rule. Navigate to Application > Rules > Generate Constituent Entities > Launch. Select Scenario, Year and Periods (Multiple periods can be selected) and click on Launch.
- This rule only runs for the Unlocked entities and will ignore the entities with Locked or Not Started approval status. If all Entities with Jurisdictions assigned are locked, then the rule will fail to run. See, Locking and Unlocking Entities in Administering Tax Reporting
