Driver Calendar Events

This page is accessed via Fleet Management > Driver Management > Driver Calendar Events.

This page defines calendar events for specific driver. You can specify that a driver will be in a training class for a week and enter those dates.

Adding a Driver Calendar Event:

1. Enter a unique Driver Calendar Event ID. You can also have the system generate an ID using the Business Number Generator. If you leave this field blank, Oracle Transportation Management automatically assigns a default ID.
2. Enter the Driver ID for the driver associated with this calendar event.
3. Enter the Calendar Event Start Time and End Time. The time zone used is the same as the one as the location for the event. If there is no location specified, then the time zone from user preferences will be used.
4. Enter the Calendar Event Location. Driver distance away from home is calculated using the following hierarchy: first, this field is used. If this is null, the Home Location ID in the Work Profile section on the Driver manager is used. If that is null, the Default Home Location ID on the Driver header is used.
5. Enter the Calendar Event Type.
6. Enter a Domain Name or accept the default.
7. Click Finished.
