Booked/Shipped/Received

This action displays the order base summary, order release totals, as well as summarized totals for ship units on booked and shipped shipments. Since each order release may consist of multiple order release ship units, Oracle Transportation Management evaluates those ship units that match the specified query criteria.

The Booked and Shipped Totals are calculated based on the buy and sell shipments and their associated ship units that contain these order release ship units. However, because of the multi-leg nature of international transportation, each order release ship unit will travel on multiple shipments from its source to its destination (e.g., truck-ocean-truck). The Received Totals are received from service providers through shipment events.

To avoid over-counting, Oracle Transportation Management selects the shipments based on the following rules:

• Booked: Sell shipments where the shipment's origin is equal to the order release's source.
• Shipped: Buy shipments where the shipment's origin is equal to the order release's source.
• Received: Buy shipments where the shipment's destination is equal to the order release's destination.
