Add Shipment Tracking Event

Allows you to record an event for one or more shipments. The Add Shipment Tracking Event SmartLink allows you to record only one event for a shipment.

After you perform a search for shipment, you can record shipment events for any shipment with one of the following SECURE RESOURCES status values:

  • SECURE RESOURCES_BOOKED
  • SECURE RESOURCES_TENDERED
  • SECURE RESOURCES_PICKUP NOTIFICATION
  • SECURE RESOURCES_ACCEPTED
  • SECURE RESOURCES_BOL

Oracle Transportation Management checks for these shipment statuses after you perform this action. An error message appears if you run this action against a shipment does that not have one of these statuses.

You cannot associate an event with a stop location using this action. If you want to do this you must use the Shipment Events menu option.
