Transport Handling Unit Count

The Transport Handling Unit Count field describes additional packaging details for the transport handling unit. Use this field to record that a transport handling unit consists of 4 boxes, 6 totes, etc. The value that you enter is multiplied by the value that you enter in both the Gross/Net Weight and Volume fields to calculate the Total Gross/Net Weight and Volume for the ship unit. For example, if you create an order with a ship unit and enter 2 as the transport handling unit count and 100 pounds in the Gross Weight per Ship Unit field, the total weight of the transport handling unit is calculated as 200 pounds and the shipment for this order is rated using this weight.
