Service Codes

This page is accessed via Financials > Power Data > Payment > Service Codes.

Service codes specify the type of pickup or delivery service (for example, PP for pier-to-pier) provided by rail or ocean-going shipments. Assigned to payment invoices and customer bills, they can be intermodal service codes (for rail and ocean-going shipments), tariff service codes, or other types.

Service codes are also used in conjunction with both air and parcel shipments to allow the designation of service levels.
