Consolidation Profile

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Event Management > Consolidation Profile.

Consolidation profiles define when and how to batch messages. You can specify if they should be batched based on size or a time window.

1. Enter a unique identifier for the Consolidation Profile.
2. Enter a Batch Size if you want to consolidate messages at a fixed number of messages. For example, enter 25 and whenever there are 25 messages, they will be consolidated and sent regardless of the time interval since the last batch.
3. If you want to define a stylesheet used to generate a summary message, enter a Stylesheet Profile.
4. If you want to consolidate messages at set times, such as everyday at 9:00 a.m., enter the time profile in the Time Window ID field.

   Note: You can set both a time window and a batch size. If both a batch size and a time window are defined, the batch will be sent as soon as a full batch is created regardless of the time. When the specified time arrives, a batch will be sent even if a full batch has not yet been created.
