Close Bid Round

This page is accessed via Sourcing >Bid Creation > Bid Round > Actions > Close Bid Round.

You can close an open bid round. Once a bid round is closed, no bids can be uploaded against that bid round.

Use this action to prevent carriers from entering any more bids in this particular bid round. If a carrier tries to upload bids into a closed bid round, they will see an error message instead of being able to upload their bids.

Note: You do not have to close the bid round to run the solver.

Closing a Bid Round

1. Select a bid round.
2. Click Actions > Close Bid Round.
   
   The action runs without any other input from you.

The screen will refresh and display the Bid Round Status Change Results page. This page lists the bid round ID, original status (BID_ROUND_OPEN), and new status (BID_ROUND_CLOSED) for the selected bid round.
