User Preference Access

This page is accessed via Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Manage User Access. In the User Access Type field, select the option User Preference. Click the Edit User Access button. The User Preference Access page opens.

A new user preference set is not accessible until you grant the appropriate access based on the options described here.

If you have administrative level privileges, you can assign a user preference set to all users in the current domain, a specific user, or to all users of a particular level. The DBA.Admin user can also assign a user preference set to any domain on their Oracle Transportation Management installation.

  1. Select the Prevent Access Changes check box to specify the final level for access configuration.
  2. Select the Replace Existing User Preference With The Following check box and find the user preference set that you want to assign.

Note: Users should always log out and log back in after access configuration changes are made.

  3. Enter a User Preference.
  4. Click Finish.
