Single Sign-On (SSO)
All Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management Cloud services are provisioned with Oracle Single Sign-On enabled. The Oracle Single Sign-On capability provides the user the ability to sign-in once across multiple Oracle Cloud services. Oracle Single Sign-On is provided by the Oracle Cloud Identity Management service. To sign in to an Oracle Cloud service with Single Sign-On enabled, the user must exist in the Identity Management service. The user must also exist in the Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management Cloud service. There's an optional capability to synchronize users between these systems. See the Configuring Oracle Identity Cloud Service User Synchronization topic in the online help for instructions on configuring user synchronization for Transportation and Global Trade Management Cloud. The Identity Management service provides a batch import capability. For more information on this topic, use the Help link provided on the User Creation screen in the Identity Management service.
It is important to note that Inbound Integration doesn't use Single Sign-On. These capabilities require the user to sign in with the password defined in the Logistics User Manager. A user that's only used for Integration doesn't need to exist in the Identity Management Service.
