Fleet Management

Generate Resource Schedule Instances

This page is accessed via Fleet Management > Resource Management > Resource Schedule > Actions > Generate Resource Schedule Instances.

Run this action to generate resource schedule instances for the given date range.

The calendar used to generate the resource schedule instance comes from the resource schedule.

When the resource is a driver, instances are generated for the DRIVER WORK calendar activities of this calendar, but only for the time period that overlaps the resource schedule effective time period and start date/end date time period you specify on this action.

If there is no calendar on the resource schedule, then the calendars on the resource, such as driver type, are used. In this case, work instances are generated for driver work activities of these calendars, but only for the time period that overlaps the resource schedule effective time period and the driver type calendar effective time period, along with the start and end times you specify on this action. A resource schedule instance is not generated for a date if one already exists for the resource schedule on that date.

Additionally, you can override calendar activities. For example, to stop generating an instance for a specific date, override the driver work activity as Don't Perform on that date.

Generating Resource Schedule Instances
